Problem with Multiplayer game

This problem slowly grew worse we played a few games alread but now my friend (I host since it won't let him) slowly lags behind. We slowed the time, but his time stops a lot, he can't even see me pause, his time jumps a ton more than it used to. We played for hours with no problems but this happens so it takes 10 minutes before we have to stop.

um yeah great support ass. What I'm saying it didn't happen the first three weeks of heavy gaming we've had. And I am curious if anyone knows of anything. I come on here for help from descent people if they know what could be causing it. If it happened from day 1 then that would be something but this started on day 20.

One thing that might help is ensuring that other tasks which consume bandwidth are closed down. Downloads and streaming, for example. Or play on a LAN.

well I know I havenothing else up and going and he lives halfway across the country so the lan game is a bit hard to do. :rofl:

You and your friends could put money to buy a superspeedy connection and so that have a great host to solve that connection problems...

Things to do in such cases:

-defrag your system disks.
-close down things as Warden recommended.
-check for spywares.
-test your connections (maybe your friend's ISP has a temporary problem).

it was my modem. It was being replaced today, replaced it and it works fine once more.
