I am the Queen of Eire and my husband just died. After finding someone that will accept a matrilineal marriage, I try to form an alliance with their liege. However, every time I do, even though it says they will accept, they decline my offer, because they've just broken off the betrothal at the same time. What's going on here?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Send the alliance offer one month after the marriage or betrothal! This is a known bug.

So, I waited two months, just to be sure it was long enough, and I'm still having the same thing happen....this is frustrating!
