So this funny little situation cropped up after the character I was playing as (Count in Bavaria) died and passed control onto his eldest son (now the new Count). The son only had daughters and the eldest daughter had already been assigned to our top bishop for education. With my second daughter about to turn 6, I decided to hand off control of my current ward (a half-brother) to someone else, so that I could have both slots open to educate my own kids. However, it won't let me educate my own kids - every time I open the "educate child" tab, my bishop is auto selected. In fact, my character cannot educate anyone at all. At first I thought it might have been a new mechanic disallowing the assignment of new wards if your character was leading troops (I was). But our lieges war ended and I returned to court - still unable to educate any child. I see all of my other vassals as options, even my wife. Just not myself.
Ideas? Bug? Help!
