hi,

i installed cim from my cim cd on my (always offline) lenovo notebook. thinkpad T60p 15".
(graphics card is an ATI FireGL 5250).

this has a strange standard resolution (1400x1050).

i thought after install CIM would automatically set the best possible resolution, but obviously it didnt.

i only see the two company logos, and then, when the CIM menu should appear, i have a black screen, though i hear the music. (sometimes no blackscreen, but ther last company logo would stay on screen instead).

i assume this is due to the screen resolution, so i wanted to manually set the resoltzuion to 1024x768 (this should always work).

but i didnt find any .ini or .cfg file that i could edit.

my question : where can i find the config file where i can set the screen resolution ?
what is the name if this file, and wjhere is it stored ? (if it doesnt exist due to first start, could i create it?)

if not, could someone post such a file with a resolution set to 1024x768 (any colou7rs, 60 Hertz) ?

how else could i set the resolution to 1024x768 ?

i want at least get to the main menu where i can set it.
but yet i never got to this menu, so i am unable to set the resolution, and the initial one is obviously undisplayable on my notebook.

what must i do to get the game to run (to see it) on this notebook ?

please help.

Go to the folder where you installed the game. Run Config.exe. It will allow you to change game settings from outside the game (requires patch 1.0.14 or higher).
Your other option is to edit the file settings.script located at "My Document\Cities in Motion"

But as mentioned by TriGlav_2000, not sure the game will ever work on your computer.
