I just crushed the French, got the "austrian victory" event, saw south german confederation choose propose union with austria in partial unification event, but I havn't received any prompt that would allow me to annex them, I already have AL from the victory trigs. Any explanations?

Are you referring to the Grossdeutchland chain or just Austria starting the SGF? If the latter then it will only be a satellite (i.e. "partial"). If the former then the SGF will have an event called "The Greater Reich" in which it's only choice is to surrender to AUS.
im talking bout the former. I crushed prussia in 1866, the federal forts transferred, france dowed me 1868, i took paris, got the victory trig, and then saw partial unification fire for sgf, but i didn't inherit them.my tag is already changed to germany.
Partial unification is not the event you are wanting. The event you need is the one I mentioned (which should fire quickly - unless you have gone past 1900?). Not sure why partial unification has fired for you - it's a completely different chain.
Perhaps gimme the event number for it so i can manually trigger it in the consul box?
