I feel I should warn you CKII is the only game I've played that was developed by paradox (though I've played other games that were published by paradox) and I gotta say army management there makes me

EU4 is definitely an improvement in this regard to say the least and while I'm glad to see there's about 3 ways of separating a single army into two I can't seem to find 1 way of combining two armies into one.

Is there something I'm just not seeing or is this not in..

Press 'g' to merge all currently selected armies/navies together (assuming they are in the same province). I am pretty sure there is a button for it in the interface too, but I got used to the 'g' hotkey for EU games so many years ago that I cannot for the love of me tell you exactly where it is. Probably near the button that allows you to reorganize the selected armies. :D

Just click-and-hold to drag a selection box around them, like in any other RTS. ;)

Bonus information you might not know: You can also assign control groups (ctrl+0-9) like in most RTS games.

Just like in CK2, you select all your army stacks in a single province at once by click dragging over them on the map :)
And as in CK2 there is a button at the top right of the resultant group box that allows you to merge them.
