Well so i this horde was awoken when i was trying to rebuild my empire from a war with Empire Hu'loog , what should i do as the two empires near me lost their whole armies.

I was thinking of invading the two empires near me but i knew that they will collapse if i weaken them too much.
should i submit and become a subject of the kammarian Horde? or fight back and die rather than to lose my resources?
I need your input guys as this is my first time to establish a federation and my first time fighting another empire in a Federation.

Thank you for your input.

The Khan will crush them anyway so if there are systems you want to take go for it. If they lose fleets to the Khan it will make things easier for you. Don't count on your AI allies for help though.

You are in no shape to fight the Khan so submiting is an option but only if you start losing systems. There is no reason to do it before that.

Are there other maurauders on the map?
If you go to war it might be wortwhile to hire the smallest mercenary fleet(4k energy IIRC) to speed things up.

Becomming a satrapy is probably the best option in your scenario, but leave it until the last minute when the horde actually arrives as, by submitting, you will strengthen the horde and make them more dangerous. The main danger is that if the horde does well there is a chance that it will hold together when the khan dies, which results in you becoming a vassal of the new empire which forms after the horde.

So submit for now, and use the time to build up in case you need to have an independence war after the khan dies.

If the horde has many satrapies, it's also possible that it will survive but as a federation with all former satrapies as members. This is actually a really cool outcome, and it's a pity it's fairly low weighted.
