Hi to you all.

I have a problem to take some provinces, because when I try to walk into them, my troops suddently stops.. and then after a while they start to go into the same provinces, only they have to start all over again... I know that enemy vessels or ship will block my passage, but Im certain that there are no enemy ships in the area Im operating... Is this some kind of glitch?

Also, sometimes I have this problem for a little while, and then suddently my troops can pass into the province without problems...

There should be some subs crossing the straits then... Any enemy vessel that appears in the straights interrupts your movement, and sometimes you don't see them. Best is to have a navy nearby or make a direct naval assault, even better parachute to the spot! You could exploit the situation with some NAV bombers, or by destroying many enemy div's as they cannot retreat after landing - usefull after sea lion at orkney islands... even bomb the convoys to death.

lol... reminds me of the time it took me ages (about 5 months) to cross the Minch to capture Stornoway... IMO this is a (very minor, tho) weak spot of the game because in real life you should be able to capture an island without troops on it, from the sea, and this isn't always possible in HoI. The fact that a island has no flat beaches which lend themself for amphibious assaults, doesn't mean that a couple of ships can't enter port and seize it that way... it worked in the Norwegian fjords albeit with a few major setbacks (like the sinking of a couple of cruisers).
