I would like to know what sort of post election job I might have, and if it will require my full time attention, IE, leaving my current occupation. I am willing to do anything to help this Administration when it is elected.

What fools! Are we not of all cultural backgrounds? Have we not all seen poverty, and for some, do we not still live it? We are a party which believes in compassionate unity, and anyone with eyes can see we want a unity based on inclusion and acceptance, than stubborness and exclusion.
I accept both my nomination to be Deputy Leader and my nomination for the GA.
I accept my nomination for the GA with the understanding that should the UP sucessfully caputre more than 1 GA seat that I will NOT be the UP's candidate for Speaker. Per the new rules this is not a problem as the speaker candidate is no longer the first person on the nomination list.

Well, the poll results are heartening, if perhaps not surprising. We're growing quickly, and the UEF, PURE and ESA are playing catchup. What worries me, though, is a consistent increase in the size of the percentage of people who aren't planning to vote. That indicates to me that a fair number of Eutopians don't think any of the parties are addressing what needs to be addressed. Anything we can do about that?
Still, we need to keep the heat on. I leave it to the party elders whether you want to stay issues-oriented or play it dirtier. I like issues as much as the next guy, but I think they risk turning into an amalgous drone to the voters in a race that could be characterized as 'everyone follow the leader' (i.e. us. I mean, Napier at the border? Come on, we've already seen that!) If you need evidence that the public is getting bored, just notice how long it's been since Lundgren published his rag.
Incidentally, Jake, Amric -- you handled Josephus's question beautifully. Not that I thought he'd really take Jake's offer to heart after being called "traitor" so often... I assume he was just fishing for ammo. Nicely played.

I would suggest that we keep it fairly issue oriented unless the UEF kicks back up its anti-UP rhetoric again, which frankly it seems to have come close to doing.
As election day grows closer, perhaps we could do a few shorter speeches which recap what we've said until now. Give people a Cliff's note version so to speak.

My words on the campaign trail is not mere rhetoric, because I truly believe him to be a man dangerous to the Republic.

Ok, the right is splintered as the PURE and the UEF dont seem to be getting along. The left is splintered into the Socialists and the P4P. Really I dont see how we could screw this up.
I have so much to add to the discussion happening over at the PURE communication HQ, but am gleefully keeping my mouth shut as the right fights amongst itself.

Jon, I have to agree with you. Let the right duke it out amongst themselves if they so desire. Jake, I also agree with Jon...A conservative with your record for Eutopia I defy anyone else to have. You've always been a fine man and I am glad to have you involved fully in the campaign....

Since this party is a temporary arrangement, I think it is reasonable. If we were looking to continue beyond this term, than some more democratic reforms could take place.
