Is there something we should talk? I know these CPR things are important, but I have no reason to complain.

Basically, I'd like us all to look at the new agenda in CPR and see if it's something we can agree with, or whether we should cut our strings and head off into the next election by ourselves

This is just something I'm throwing out for debate.

With our dwindling numbers and the apparent same problem with the RD...what would you say if we were to formally seek a merger?

The RD have not approached me with this idea, nor have I approached them. I'm just thinking ahead to the future. The RD has been pro-labour for the most part and one or two of their members, especially IKilledKenny belong closer to us then them.

But I'm just toying with the idea. Of course I wouldn't begin to seek official merger terms without a full vote of the membership---which would probably wait until after our next roll call, to make it official.

But it's somethign to talk about.

Wouldn't a coalition between the two parties be a better idea. A merger seems.. to much for me.

The coalition is not a bad idea. The disadvantage is that an RD/ESRP coaliton would probably not be strong enough to fight off an MP-led Right. Which means we'd need to join the MP in a three-way coalition similar to CPR. And once again, the ESRP would find itself without a strong bargaining chip.

An official merger, would allow the ESRP-RD to form a coalition agreement with MP on the basis of strength.

That's just my thought on that.

The other option, which may be what you were thinking when you said coalition is similar to the Conservative Coaltion from a few terms back (most of you werent' around then)--where for the next election we field a candidate list together as one party with the RD; and run as one party.

I'm all for the revolution....but with our chief revolutionary missing, it's not so easy.

OK. Let's think about a formal coalition with RD and fielding one Party for election in the upcoming election.

Let me know if you agree. If yes, I'll approach RD and see what they think.

Is there a Che Guavara institute? I went to Cuba and I didn't see it??

[OOC: Not that I'm aware of. I've been to Cuba a few times....but if there was such an institute there would be one in Santa Clara, site of Che's sabotage of a Cuban army supply train, and where he's currently laid to rest.]

Then it's a start of my whining about doctrine .

I wasn't able to read the whole thing (God ) but I still made it 'till about 8th page . I absolutely disagree with the concept of a professional army, as well as women conscription.

Professional army is terribly inefficent when it comes to a defensive warfare: you can't just mobilize the country, you have to teach it to handle weapons. Marxism-Leninism, of which you talk in the manifesto says that a socialistic country should always be prepared to perform the basic actions of self-defence.

Even though I agree with the equality of sexes, I dissagree that they are the same. Males and females are equal, but different. Most women won't be able to handle the warfere, they are generally weaker physically and psychicly. Of course, there are some exceptions, therefore women should be allowed into the officer schools and professional units (eg. special forces) and be treated equally.

That is about all for now
