The ESA doesnt fully exist yet and only has one confirmed member.
Im making, in my opinion, at the least, a decent proposal. Even if a socialist forms, that doesnt mean it will appeal to all on the left.

I understand, I feel that this is a great party but we have to do something.
We have to have some major difference between us and the UP?
At this moment, I can understand why this party is falling apart, the veterans arent listening much to the younger members and I havent heard from much of the others. I have only seen a small part of the party itself.

Mr. Johnston made some good points. What if we were to remodel this party more to the Left than it is? As it stands, we are basically the UP with one or two modifications. This is clear when we campaign.
Thus the options we have are:
1. Continue as is with or without a new leader. Possible consequences are more desertions from hard-line leftists. I won't deny I'm considering this myself.
2. Do what Tulp says. Join or ally with the UP. They won't take me, but they'll take some of you.
3. Change our platform, move to the left...we'll lose some of the centrists.
Personally I don't know what to do. Mr. Kenny you did come out strong with a viable party platform, and early membership. But then we sort of died down. The UP came, they launched their campaign and we were left trying to react to it.
We didn't have a strong idea as to what we should be campaigning about. Few of us were campaigning. No resolution to some of the indecisiions amongs ourselves were made. For example the VAT. You brought your idea here and then left it suspended in mid air as some of us tried to modify it.
And frankly, our numbers worry me. We may have lots of members, but, seriously, I haven't seen half of them since they said "here's my ID".
Mr. Kenny, you're a good man with great ideas. It's your method of execution that is a little lacking.

And we are not the same of the UP... Because we Made our platform before any other party, so they would be coping us.. not the reverse...

The Campaign, the 'victory'. The momentum is gone, the UP now has even more ammo to hit us with, and they WILL use that ammo. It just can't happen.
P4P, I think, has a good chance to get back into the campaign if we do it now. We must reform our platform and start campaigning a lot better, I think we can do both.

At the moment I don't think I'm the right person for the job. I don't know if they'll take us but we should try. Sothat we can tell the people that we tried.

After a short weekend off to my summer residence I read through the minutes of the last meetings.
There is clearly something wrong here. We need to rethink our strategy and maybe our platform.
I think it might be better to move our program slightly to the left to distinguish ourselves from the UP.
I also think it's to early to form alliances with whatsoever party as the dynamics are unstable for the moment.
I do however think we should keep our current party leader as our candidate for presidency as we want to show as less weakness as possible.
Let's take some time to discuss our internal issues first before we go public on anything.
