What is the PM limit? Back on the old forum I know I had forty, but now I don't see it indicated anywhere anymore. As we can't download PMs on the new forum and I have some conversations worth to remember for future use it would be helpful to know, to avoid suddenly having a full inbox without being aware of it. It is also my responsibility to have space in it according to the rules, and knowing the limit would help me out in that too.

That would explain it! Then I will remain conservative on the number of conversations I keep, to not over-abuse that generosity.

I think i remember reading somewhere that there was no limits with the new conversation system...

Given that i have 16 pages of conversations, most having a number of messages... and that i bet i'm a small player in that regards... i'm fairly positive there is no limit indeed.

You are a small player indeed; I have 39 pages of PMs and some of them have 300+ posts inside them.
Though compared to Had a Dad and Mr. Capiatlist I'm a small fish too; albeit I might have longer PMs than they do.

There isn't one actually . Xenforo doesn't have the option built in though there are mods that enables us to set limits as well as do a few other things. It's on my "to investigate further" list .

Thank you for the answer! I understand it may be better for you to have a limit to save space, even if most members don't hoard as many conversations as the moderators who need to use it frequently.

I hope that you don't implement a limit, since it can be quite useful to be able to go back and find past PMs. Especially since sometimes you need to continue them and then you might as well continue where you left instead of starting a new one.

That is something I have thought upon too. Was more relevant for me before the groups, but it could still be an useful feature.
