OOC: I really want to get into this again. My interest for politics has come back to me, because we got a bitch to lead our socialdemocratic party. So I'm gonna fight her with all means possible... without helping the right wing. Tough, but interesting.
Give me some time to read up on things, and let me see if I can get back to Eutopia for real.

Josephus, do you want to put in a link for our campaign trail? I think that would be easier from an organizational stand point. If not, I was going to just address whatever speech I made from other locations, (for example, a speech in front of the Young Socialists of Eutopia).
I would also suggest leaving the link public so that there could be some avenue for debate or questioning. I think that we can have a decent showing and some impact on the debate, as long as you, Liep and myself are organized and make a concerted effort.

Also, we need to strategize our campaign ideas.

We have to fend off our opponents' accusations that we did nothing all term.

I suggest I start off admitting some guilt for that; but also for the overall poor showing by the GA.

Then we can argue that our strong point this term would be to do what we do best. Defend the rights of the workers and the oppressed classes. We know that this term we can't form a government; so we don't need an agenda per se. I suggest we listen and analyze carefully the other parties' campaigns and debate them publicly from the workers' perspectives.

I think that we should counter any speeches that are made, and ask questions from the worker's perspective. Loic has put out a few about the military and security, and I posted a comment on the ESA campaign trail. (Josephus, I know that you talked about modernizing the military in exchange for the VAT, but I never talked about modernizing the military, so I figured I could critize some).
I believe it's important, if we are to be a minority party for a short time, then we should be a vocal minority.

For president, I recommend De Fourgeres. I have worked with him all term and I will say this about him: He is dedicated.

If you can make one or two more speeches that would be great. Liep, can you make one?

Oh well. We need to start again from scratch. Recruiting new members and all that. Let's stay visible for the term. You are both welcome to use the Eutopian Worker for editorials.

Jeremiah....I believe that Loic is offering me a Cabinet Seat. If he does, I will resign my GA seat the minute we elect a Speaker. After that, I will put you in my GA slot if you like and if you promise to use it well.
