I'm sorry for not posting... Is just that Eutopia is not the same it was... When I was kicked for the NA, I lost the great deal of interrest I had...

I feel bad to say that, because I know much of you still love this game... like I loved... Probably in a future I will come in full force... Still.. Continue with the good work If you need me Call to my office ( post here... ) and I will come to the rescue I just don't have so much interrest in seeing threads that don't have anything related to me...

Well, Commander Stewart, since Dr. Glasser is still MIA, and Vasco seems to be pretty much the same, I say we vote on a new chairman. I nominate you. So you are now chairman. I'll vote for you, and you would vote for yourself, so there is really no need for formalities. Congratulations, sir.

Some how getting this postion now doesn't have them same sense of power and authourity it may once have held .

What about some radicl new thinking - we should become a far-right populist party, they always seem to do well, ohh and get are self a para-military froce to attack our opponents. only kidding.

Seriuosly though. i have been thinking about the bermuda situation recently. How about this party taking the lead in a new Eutopian movement to demand the return of our terrirtoy from british colonialism. We can form likes with pro-eutopians in bermuda and help them by providing funding and such, help them build up their electoral positon to strengthen their case to return to their mother country

That would require a great deal of cash, which the nation doesn't have, let alone the party. It is an interesting idea, but with Bermuda being relatively close to the US I doubt they would see a rise in our 'imperialism' in trying to get Bermuda back well. What might be good is feeling out whether there is any support in Bermuda for a return to the fold of EUtopia first before making any grand strategies? If we find there is strong popular support in Bermuda for a return to Eutopian sovereignty then it could be a good thing to start diplomatic moves to try and get our territory returned....

Effective immediately with the proper invocation of subaltern clause of 1865, the National Assembly is ordered to reduce its membership from 12 members.

Our interpretation of the law suggests that the reduction leave a new assembly of between 6 and 8 members. No guidance is given as to where within this range the number should be set.

We therefore discharge our duties to the best of our ability to reduce the size of the National Assembly from 12 to 8 members. The new National Assembly shall be recognized as follows. Former members not recognized should vacate their offices with the greatest reasonable haste.

Commander Stewart, they are saying the size of the NA will be reduced. With are much smaller active leadership this is not really a hardship for us. Get together with the chair of the CRP and amend our NA member list to you, me, and Michael von Streusser<of CRP> for our coalition and it will be fine....

you really think we should accept that some archane process created under the monarchy should be allowed to be used in this manner? if someone proposed ammendments to the constitution to do this it would be something to consider. But in the middle of a term and in away that expels legaly elected members of the assembly from their postions is not something that can be acceptable, nor legal.

I've changed my mind...I am leaving the party. I believe it is dying to all intents and purposes and I am not the one to try and save it.

Ms. Whitby, let me introduce myself. I am Dr. Jonathan Glasser, one time speaker, one time party leader, and momentary President. I am honored to meet you.

But I must get down to business. Are you planning on cotinuing the DA or are you going to let it die? While I have returned to Eutopia, the idea of resuming any kind of party leadership role is not something I can do with a good conscious at this moment.

However, with your blessing, and pending clarification of the ERO, I would hope that based on my party history you have no problems with my trying to assume the vacant DA NA seat. I apologize for not talking to you first, before talking to the ERO and hope you can forgive that faux paux (sp?).

*Glasser cleans out the few remaining momentos from the DA HQ, having joined the CRP and resigned his membership in the DA. He looks at the building quite sadly as he closes the door behind him. He hopes that Ms. Whitby uses her key soon to reopen the place but until then it looks like the DA has died.*
