Roger Forbes rises slowly from his chair and walks towards this Mr. Martinez, holding a lit cigar in one hand and saying rather sardonically and calmly, "But we here are not conservatives, Mr. Martinez. We are capitalists, reactionaries, and don't forget, members of the old guard. Just as you are not a corrupt communist scum, but a revolutionary, a servant of the people, and a champion of the downtrodden. You see, Mr. Martinez, we all have names used to cover up our true identities. The difference between our names and yours is the extent to which they stretch (or break) the truth. I assume you get my meaning, and I don't have explain it more simply. After all, you are really just, as I said, a servant of the people. You speak and understand their language, but not that of us capitalist fat-cats."
After Mr. Martinez has been rather forcefully shown the door, Forbes becomes more serious. "The most pathetic thing about that was that he actually brought life and energy to this party, something that none of us have managed to do. Therefore, I would like to propose the creation of a new party, more moderate and without the "conservative" label. Do I have any support?"
