1) Yes
2) Agree with the two before. Even if the first part is great the later part has some part that I can not support. But the first part is a really important and this was a bill created by all the parties and voting against just make us look stupid. so YES it is.

I think we need to vote no in this and then, if it doesn't go through, propose that a new bill with only the great things is voted for.

As I see it is a huge thing to allow 16-year-old people to vote in a professional election.

The problem it is going through. So I see no reason to vote no here.

Isnt this a counstituational thing? Dont you need a 75% majority or something?

Dear Duke, As it wasn't any hurry to "reform" the party, now when its long to next election, I thought it wise to wait on your return, because you know the details better then I do.

And I don't think its a reason to vote yes because everyone else do it, but we can always put down our votes.

Noone who want to make my Unversityu bill better, if not I post it in the Parliament.

And Mr Vilms, you are welcome with your bill, come with it here first though so we can see it.

Gentlemen, one more thing, ONE important thing the anti-terrorist bill which I support with one exception, that it make differense between the terrorists target and what they called "innocent" people, I think that it must be changed before we can vote for it, without us voting for it it may not pass throu.

-------------------
EUTOPIAN ANTI-TERRORIST BILL
By MDIA Dan Hartwell, Jacob Langley, and Charles S. Morgan

Article I
Creation of Counter-Revolutionary Operations Group
(Consisting of 4 officers [OOC: human players] and 20-30 soldiers)

1. Adequate funding for sophisticated intelligence gathering equipment and high tech arms as used by most counter terrorism units.

2. CROG to be charged with finding and bringing to justice members of the revolution and other terrorists in Eutopia.

3. Wide powers including; right to plant bugs on persons, to tap phones, to run surveillance on suspicious persons, to arrest persons suspected of terrorist activities or suspected of being involved in the planning of such activities or being involved with persons involved in terrorist activities. The power to arrest and hold persons without laying charges for up to 24 hours.

4. To be independent of other military units and would liaise with police forces, be under overall command of the President and responsible to the parliament.

[OOC: All actions from point 3 to be approved by GM in every case before being implemented.]

Article II
Foundation of National Department of Investigation
A National Department of Investigation will be created under the Ministry of Defense (as a civilian organization) with the purpose of identifying and stopping terrorist activities inside the nation of EUtopia. The Department’s goals:
-To arrest figures known to be or suspected beyond reasonable doubt to be terrorist leaders
-To stop suspected terrorist plots before they start
-To investigate acts of terrorism which do occur
-To identify organizations or businesses which support terrorism and to freeze these organizations’ money-flow
-To perform background checks on immigrants to the country
-To investigate nationwide crime sprees, ie., crimes in different regions of the country which are proven to have been committed by a single suspect or group
This department will have power to conduct espionage activities on suspects if the suspicion is sufficiently strong.

Article III
Judicial Consequences of Terrorist Actions
1. Any act of terror that results in the death of an innocent person shall automatically carry a death sentence.

2. Any act of terror that could have reasonably resulted in the death of an innocent person, shall automatically carry a life sentence in a super maximum security prison.

3. Any other act of terror, including, but not limited to, massive destruction of property, false bomb threats, death threats, and kidnapping shall be punishable by no less than 20 years in jail and no more than life in prison in a super maximum security prison.

4. Knowingly supporting or assisting terrorist operations or organizations by providing any of the following: information, financial support, shelter, cover, training, equipment, protection, or any other assistance shall be punishable by no less than 10 years in jail. In cases that result in the death of an innocent, the death penalty may be enacted.

Article IV
Petition of American Government
The government of EUtopia shall request the government of the United States of America to add the Most Enlightened Order of Socialist Revolution (MEOSR) to the globally accepted “State Department list” of terrorist organizations. Should the American government refuse the President has the right to request of the United Kingdom, if he so chooses, that MEOSR be added to the said list.

I like the bill with two exception. The one stated by Banér before me and that part that the police can do anything to people if they are suspected as terrorists. I want something that prevent abuse of this.

Reformation Time

So, the CRE Reformation is here. This is what we will do. First ov all Our name will be changed to "Centre Royal Party of Eutopia". This has been wanted by members for long, and now it will be changed.

Second will I start an Organisation, "Eutopian Royalist Organisation (ERO)". This will be the Organisation to handle Royalist issues. The Organisation will work for Monarchy and it will be helped by the Party. The Organisation will have the power to force ALL CRE representants in the Parliament to vote their way in questions that could affect the possibility of reinstall Monarchy.

Thirdly will we oversee our standings in the first post. I will post the standings, say what I think, and then all of you can join in and say what you think. Express your ideas, how stupid they may be ;).

This will be the beginning of the CRE reformation.

Thank you

[OOC: If any mod reads this, could you please change the title of this thread to "Centre Royal Party of Eutopia (CRE)"]

Reformation

I forgot one thing. This will not be a slow operation, the oppinions on the standings will only be allowed for maybe one day if nothing happens, then will I move on. Ofcourse can we later, if anyone things that he/she didn't get the time to say his oppinoin bring that standing up again.

So, the first of our standings:

Concerning the way of Ruling Eutopia
Eutopia should be ruled by a King/Queen. The King should be the HoS but not the HoG. The King should have a permanent place in the parliament. The King should appoint the spokesperson of the parliamentary who will give the biggest party or coalition the mission to setup a government. The King will represent Eutopia when foreign Hos/HoG visit Eutopia and also make visits in other countries. The King is highest commander of the army/navy/aircraft. The King may dissmis the parliament and call for new elections. The King may not be member of any party and should not be able to participate in the parliamentary elections.
________________________________

Here I propose a change as the Monarchy issues has been moved on to ERO.

Concerning the way of Ruling Eutopia
CRE has chosen to give the power away to the Royalist Oranisation ERO. The ERO has the power to force CRE Parliament Representants to vote their way in questions that in anyway concerns the way of ruling Eutopia. A vote for CRE is still a vote for Monarchy, but the party itself doesn't work with the question. More information can be seen in the "Eutopia Royalist Organisation" Headquarters.

This is very importent things, and I like the way you have solved the problem, Duke Kent.

I recomend you all to sign up for membership in ERO, and if you don't want you don't have to, its only a official recomendation from the party.

And to those who haven't roll called yourself - do it :)

About the changing of "The way of ruling Eutopia", they are good and the basis on how ERO will work. I suggest that we start a discussion in ERO about how we want the Monarchy shall be installed and on which basis.

About the name change I second it as I have done earlier.

(ooc: so Mel, change the name on this thread as Duk Kent told you to do ;))

Okey, then that standing has been handeled, Baron Banér, could you please change it to the new one.

Here's the next one:

Concerning the Economy
We believe that all people needs to be more equal. We believe in relativy high taxes, so that the ones in the lowest part don't have to suffer so that the ones high up can get it even better. Although we believe that an individual has to have the chance to climb high and by hard work get a richer lifestyle than others.
_______________________________

Is this what we stand for?

Personally I can go with it, although a policy allowing slightly lower taxews would also be fine with me.

What do you think?

What do you think about this changes? Come with more suggestions, and improvements, and to you who are better then I in English please, correct the gramatical errors:)

------
Concernig the Economy:

We believe that all people needs to be more equal. We belive that the state need to have big incomes thru taxes or similar things so we can afford the welfare, which must be improved.
We believe that an individual has to have the chance to climb high and by hard work get a richer lifestyle than others.

J Banér's proposal is then accepted. Any complains can be made later, on to the next paragraf.

Concerning the Healthcare
The healthcare should be public and free. A maximum distance between the hospitals will be 100 km, so that it will be avaliable for everyone.
___________________________

I thinkthis is a bit short and would propose it to be changed to:

Concerning the Healthcare
The Healthcare should be public and free, you shouldn't need to save incase of sickness. Everyone has the right for good gelp if they get sick, not only the rich. As we believe that no person should be punished because of where they live, will we work for many hospitals around the country. A maximumdistance of 100km to closest Hospital is recomended.

What is your oppinion about that?
