This is the backroom to the Hammer and Sickle, a small, musty place, rarely used. There's propaganda posters hung from the Russian and Spanish civil wars. On the desk there's a big typewriter and an old radio. Through another door, there's a printing machine, which is running right now printing new posters for the 4 hour work day.

The ECL has been very successful in radicalizing the working classes and raising militancy among them. Pretty soon will come the next step: the siezure of the means of production. I think Josephus has strayed to near the center to support anything like this. As they say, the government has changed him, instead of the other way around. When the time comes, can I count on you to form a revolutionary party comrade?

What exactly are you planning? Revolutionary vangaurd parties have a troubled past. But I could support something like that if it was carried out right. I do think that capitalism is beyond reform, and revolution is the only solution. We should try to get some more support for it though [OOC: ask some people in a forum on Marx to join Eutopia]. Yes, I'll stand by you. But we should wait. As of now the ESA is essentially Josephus, you and I. Which means the radical wing has an amazing oppurtunity to push its politics. Lets try to get a bill through, you keep using the ECL to radicalize the working class and fight for better conditions. When the time comes, we'll do something alright.

We should start making preperations. I'm going to have the ECL start buying some civilian weapons in bulk. That'll give us a starting point. We should start trying to make contacts with foreign revolutionary groups and see if we can't smuggle some weapons in. You should start arming the Six Kingdoms.

Cornelius orders some upper ECL members begin writing letters of correspondence to the EZLN, FARC, ETA, IRA, the Shining Path, and the Cuban government, attempting to establish closer ties with the important revolutionary movements of the world.

A few groups of people involved with the movement and yet with no official connection to the ECL have been ordered to Cuba, Ireland, Columbia, Mexico, Peru, and Spain. Their objectives are to asses the revolutionary integrity of these groups and solicit whatever aid they may have to offer in terms of weapons, training, or funds. The two groups most able and expected to do this are Cuba and the FARC in Columbia.

Carlos Rojas, a senior ECL member, comes into the back room. "Evening, comrade," he says, settling down in a chair. He tosses a cold beer to Cornelius. "Listen, my friend, I've seen your orders about sending out some letters. Castro, sure, even the President hangs out with him. But ETA? IRA? Sendiro Luminoso? These are bad news, Cornelius, real killers. If the press finds out, we'll look bad. You sure about this?"

I realize that. But I'm not approving of their tactics. If they can offer us any aid I'd be only too happy to accept it. Alot of groups in the New Left in America accepted aid from the USSR without supporting their programme. I don't really expect any support from them anyways, especially the ETA. I'm counting on the Cubans and the Columbians. Personally I don't even agree with the Cubans or the Columbians, who tend to exclude worker participation. But we can't do this on our own.

500 assault rifles, 40 rocket powered grenade launchers, 8 Stinger shoulder-launched missles, 35 mortars, ammunitions, medical supplies, about 700 assorted hand-guns, 100 heavy MGs, and various equipment (boots, radios, backpacks, bandoliers, etc.) have been successfully recieved by the ECL.

Feeling that greater precautions must now be taken to protect the ECL, Cornelius has relocated his secret operations to an abandoned farmhouse in rural Nouvelle Aquitaine. The backroom is left as it is for ECL pamphlets and posters to be written and printed off.

Monsieur Moreau-Dumont arrives to the Backroom of the Hammer and Sickle

Bonjour, mes amis. Is Monseiur Dank here, by any chance?
