Now that we can do fun and amazing things with prisoners, I find myself wishing for the things we SHOULD be able to do:

Educate children prisoners (Drakul's sons come to mind). "Oh, my rebellious Bohemian Duke, I have your kids and they will be raised as proper German Catholics!"

Arrange marriages (looking at you, Maid Marian and Sansa Stark).

Perhaps take it a step further and allow *all* diplomatic actions on a prisoner with "offer release" as an option (much like "use favor") so you can tell the AI especially "I will release you if you marry your heir to my son."

You can already do this one.

Yep. I hesitate to release/ransom little girl prisoners because of the chance they might become proper Tocharian Buddhists while under my lock and key. If not, they still make fine concubine material.

Arranging marriages would be an interesting one, and probably something I could get behind. Are there any examples of this in history, or just fiction?

Btw, torturing/mutilating prisoners makes chasing away raiders a WHOLE lot more fun now. I just wish I didn't get Cruel and Stressed quite so often...

As far as arranging marriages go, or offering to release prisoner in exchange for marriage, you already can.

Recruit prisoner to your court, and he'll be released into your employ. Then, you're free to marry him to whoever you want. The joys of capturing heirs and strong claimants in battle.

can't force marriages with landed characters that you imprison, or their heirs though.
