So, there's different ways to interact with "pre-warp" planetary cultures... passive observation, enslavement, etc.
Beyond simply wild guesses, do we have any knowledge as to which AI t ypes will use which types of interaction? Yeah, I assume militarists will go for rougher treatment, but in some cases, I'm just not sure. Anything on this subject beyond guessing, so far?

First: There is a difference between pre-warp and pre-sentient species on planets, the second you can genetically engineer to be useful to your empire, the first is essentially another empire, but their territory is limited to one world and they have almost no diplomatic options until they achieve space flight.

Pacifist / Xenophile will be either passive or Up Lifting, xenophobe / militarist will be active observation (abductions) or infiltration.
Collectivist might prefer to either up lift or infiltrate rather than study, Individualist could do any reasonably.
Spiritual / Material I'd imagine wouldn't have a preference.

The AI is supposed to act according to their ethos so i guess that each kind of empire chooses its option based on that.
