Hello, I have a complaint in regards to the price of Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword.

It is an expansion, basically.

Don't get me wrong, I bought it through Direct2Drive for about $10 AUD. And another copy through steam for about $12 AUD. (Australian Dollar is about 1.06 american dollars)

Thats great, happy with that price, yet I go into the local games store (EB Games, biggest games retailer in Australia, owned by Gamestop) and I see this:

On a good day that is $73.77 American Dollars.

I questioned the price, its set by Paradox.

Any comment?

Prices aren't set by Paradox. They give a suggest price... then the retailler or download portal choses the price (for example depending on transport). That's how you can had price differences between for example Gamersgate and Steam.

I had to check out this thread a pricing complaint?

Thats an outrageous price. I buy 99% of games through Amanzon, MBW cost me £14, and FS was £10. Both cheaper than downloads. I disagree that FS is an expansion. After all isnt an expansion meant to make the game better?

If that's the case, it's pretty rad for a developed country.

Actually, when you look at the price of telecommunications and internet, you might want to consider that not everybody can afford more...
