Price Spikes on WM after ACW

Prices on the World Market spiked just after the American Civil War events fired. Prices on many items increased to $999 which resulted in Germany making about $1M in short order.

Seen in V:R in the 1836 campaign playing Prussia->Germany.

suddenly 2 millions!?!?

I'm playing V-R as Ottoman empire. Around 1895 I found sudenly in my tresury more then 2 millions and I donn't understand why. Could be an event (where I pressed enter without reading??) or a bug? or other solution?

I reported something similar here from my game as Prussia. Prices for most commodities spiked to $999 which allowed me to make about $1M in a few weeks.

So It's something to tweak I think. Thanks to that money I could rush to the third place in few years, with a forced and quick industrialization. I would need much more time without that 2 sudden millions

Same happened in my Russia game. I was at war with Prussia whose new battlecry became "OMG HAXXORZ!!!11"
