Do not forget that EU4 does not have official support of the Russian language. all Russian speaking players play with the help of amateur translation, made by fans of the game.

holy shit u joined in 1999..Why is this picture passed around unironically?
They're watching without paying.
They are the analog analogue of digital pirates.
I'm still very much keeping an eye on this thread and reading all the replies, but there is nothing for me to add. The price changes will ofc be revised in the future but for now they are not going to be reverted.
This made me laughIf we expel the Marketing team from Paradox HQ, we will get the money back like in CK2?
This made me laugh!
Just to reiterate that me (and many others) are following this thread and I want to thank you for keeping the discussion going. As you know I'm "the forum guy" and not involved in how prices are set or what regions get affected, but I'm still very much involved in this. As such, whilst I don't have more info to share, I want you to know that I'm here and I'm taking stock of the feedback you are giving us.
But I thought the prices were here to stay? Eh whatever... I just hope they re-evaluate their pricing levels because a lot of people are pretty dissatisfied.
There is huge chance prices will be changed after Summer Sale. Cause, you know, bad decision making and stuff. But they will fulfill the mission - selling games for "normal" prices.

Because it is an easy diagram of the difference between equality and equity? Why is this picture passed around unironically?

I only wish that steam raise the prices for all games in russian region.
Why they pay 2-2.5 times less than everybody else ? Its not fair.

Looks like supermarket's price policy in Russia. Base price -> Increase price with sale -> End of sale -> Profit.
That's strange... Last time I checked GOG (yesterday) PoE: Hero Edition was something near 1300. And now old prices are back. And a discount.
since when is 1399 roubles a third of 37640 roubles (which is the average russian wage according to 5 different websites)If you have PC and Internet, it does not mean that you will spend a third of salary on the eu4. This is ridiculous.
I'm sure the sales will put everything in its place.
The only question is: will they the courage to admit a mistake or "we are right even when wrong."

More than 60% of people in Russia do not earn more than 25,000 rubles. In the central regions without Moscow and St. Petersburg the majority earns about 15,000 rubles. Without any sites, I just live in Russia.since when is 1399 roubles a third of 37640 roubles (which is the average russian wage according to 5 different websites)
You don't understand. To be completely honest with all the people citing equity as the main reason Russian prices are so damn criminal towards all european pdx fans , Brazil has a lower average wage than Russia still pays 7 euros more atm and paid more before the increase in price , Ukraine has a way lower average wage than Russia still pays about the same amount as russia, do you think your crying has any real meaning to it? any reason? I would say it does , but only if you're playing on a Potato and can't afford food , but since you're playing EU IV/(other paradox games) you must be living an average russians or above life since EU IV/(other paradox games) isn't a game that can run on a potato , this is just a case of "oh damn, i can't spend as much money on other things now aka . i can't pretend im western european ;__; what will i do"
Globalisation is bad because people think they can live a life of someone with a better standard of living than them when they actually can't ,which means more arguements starting with "the prices are too high" ,when its really like "oh but i want this one thing so if you could lower your prices or ill boycott your product yea?"
note: im not saying im not to blame for the same exact thought process im critiquing here
