Don't worry guys, our publisher has asked us to remove all political policies from the game so those will not be there when the game is released.
Oh, that's a shame.

Huh? Every single social policy is a political question, are you removing all the cool stuff like ban on skyscrapers, public transport, anything tax related...?Don't worry guys, our publisher has asked us to remove all political policies from the game so those will not be there when the game is released.
smart move, i honestly tell you that no matter how good or bad the game would be, if it would contain any political message(especially hispterish correct ones) i would NOT buy it.Don't worry guys, our publisher has asked us to remove all political policies from the game so those will not be there when the game is released.

Will the game have churches? I'm not religious but some of the finest buildings in Europe's towns and villages are churches and cathedrals! I'd miss them if they were left out.

Publishers... The majority of them should be avoided by gaming companies. Paradox aren't just making CO rush the game, but they're also making them cut content to please all the SJWs and the conservative people.Don't worry guys, our publisher has asked us to remove all political policies from the game so those will not be there when the game is released.
Perhaps you might explain, what exactly was cut from the game? If it's what I think it is + the context and reasons of cutting them out, then it's deplorable news indeed. I personally don't give a damn about these so-called issues, which both social justice w*nkers and ultraconservative nutjobs find "offensive", thus making normal gamers suffer once more from dumbing down the game and making it simpler and casual.Publishers... The religion/gay/moral thing should be back to the game and it'd be up to the player decide if he'll approve these laws or nah, these things can fill the aesthestical part of the game and giving the player the feel of power and FREEDOM to build and develop their cities as they want.
I actually agree with your publisher. That kind of stuff really shouldn't be in there, it's just a game.Don't worry guys, our publisher has asked us to remove all political policies from the game so those will not be there when the game is released.
<- This.holy hell, is this what society has come to? That a game developer can't just code in "M+F+kids" for a "family" in a city building game? That they literally need to code "M+F+Kids 98%" and "M+M .5%" and "F+F .5%" and "2F+2M .1%" and "transvestiteM + F .2%" and "ordinance to allow gay marriage?" "ordinance to allow civil unions" "ordinance to allow polygamy" etc.. etc.. etc.. etc.. etc.. etc.. etc... Screw this politically correct bullcrap and just make a game!!!
So does that mean there will also be no policies on banning smoking (political), tax incentives for particular industry types (political), no policies on crime e.g. firearms, curfews or cctv (political), subsidies for public transport (political), minimum wages (political)? Almost anything could be deemed political by someone, so where do you draw the line?Don't worry guys, our publisher has asked us to remove all political policies from the game so those will not be there when the game is released.

That this would even be a discussion and issue at CO / Paradox has made me lose a little faith in their development process.
Can't people be tolerant without having to go the extra mile to showcase their tolerance every chance they get?????
WOW!! the sad part is there is only like 1 or 2 comments on anything form the previews except for the same sex marriage item.
