The RPS article talks about how allowing same sex marriage is one of the policies in the game. Seems weird for a city builder considering that sort of thing is never decided by municipal government, and certainly wouldn't vary from neighbourhood to neighbourhood.
How is that a responsibility of a city? It wouldn't be bad if some of the houses would be inhabited by homosexual couples, but making a policy out of it, srsly? The RPS article talks about how allowing same sex marriage is one of the policies in the game. You won't be looking in their bedroom and seeing them having gay sex so don't worry, you won't have to confront your own homosexuality. It'll just be like, two people who are married and both have male or female names. if you don't mind it in reality then you shouldn't mind it in the game.Oh man now we are at the point we have to suffer homosexuality in games really? I dont care what they do in the realworld but i dont want a game where i have to see this, its not necessary to implent homosexuallity to a game espacelly on a citybuilder! Then i would love a law to forbid that the move in my townand no iam tolerant and not a religouse extremist or somethink but if that is implemented there have to be a tolerant about peopel who dont want to see gays in the game.
Well, in some coutries where to build a nuclear plant is not a municipal decision, still nobody complains about it being in game.
I like the idea of banning same sex marriages (in a game, not in real life ofc), the more policies, the better.
Either way it seems like a strange thing to put in a city builder for the reasons I previously mentioned.
Don't worry guys, our publisher has asked us to remove all political policies from the game so those will not be there when the game is released.
