I've seen plenty of invisible enemies and never had said problems with flagging or heroes attacking them.

Are you sure they didn't just ignored him because of going home, or buying stuff etc.?

I am 100% positive. it did nothing when I right clicked him and my players did not even attempt to counter him when they got attacked nor did they even run.

Just completed this mission, after a lot of pain. The next mission was a cakewalk... untill the Imp Advisor suddenly assaulted my town with his elementals and annihilated my level 15 heroes by 4 in one attack.
Got utterly destroyed and it seems I should have tried to take out that elemental seat when I had the chance, ofcours I saved just before the Imp attacks....

Game can be pretty damn frustrating at times ;)

One annoying thing about this mission, though, is that there's a significant degree of artificial difficulty in this scenario - namely, what strategic genius had the idea of making camp between two opposing camps rather than sitting to the side, thus turning what should have been a three-way into a painful two-front war?
Presumably the same genius who believes walking into every mission with a few thousand gold and no experienced heroes is perfectly sound strategic thinking.

That Elemental seat however doesn't do *anything* during the entire mission. Like several other seats throughout the game (Desert Survival, Ancient Liche mission). Bug or intended? I don't know.

Still not sure though what the issue's are with the Advisor. I usually hear town-arrival scenario's so for a change I let him come to me my last game, and with a 10K reward flag on his head, he was dead pretty fast when my entire hero-detail attacked him.
Ofcourse having 95K in gold because I waited for day 80 might have helped too :p KROLM KROLM KROLM (And Shield of Chaos).

Intended I think. Some map features look as if they were not developped.

The ancient lich map is a good example as in top right corner, stands a place crowded with undead which was probably supposed to allow a side quest in order to weaken the lich or something. The elemental seat just down this place does nothing.
Lack of time for developpment or a not working gameplay. Something like that.

Try to place a protect flag on or near the trading post in the NW corner of your town. There's a lot of imps that pour in from that side which will give your heroes tons of experience. I also place a protect flag on the NE corner of my town and let my heroes level up on dragons and werewolves.

The best heroes IMO for the Imp Adviser are Dwarves, Paladins, and Beastmasters. The Temple to Fervus rocks in this quest, use the guild spell and your tanks will laugh at the adviser.

I'm not going to argue with what happened in my game lol.
If he also stuns the king so I cant place flags on his head then that must be what happened.
No idea if he got poisoned but my hero's could not see him only my towers could hit him.
He may of got hit with an aoe from my heroes killing the elemental creaturres.

They are supposed to always keep an elemental alive, if you kill it it respawns. In this map I used them as first targets to attract many heroes to the imp. So I destroyed them first and could not confirm if there's a bug or not. For other maps elementals wanderer quite a lot and I didn't quote this behavior. There's perhaps a bug or not.

This area is the undead generator that will involves some undead near the lich, they use a north path. If you destroy anything in this area you won't have to bother with any undead when you battle the Lich and mirrors.

You could consider it a map feature not enough polished, for me it worked and the mood involved is rather nice.

Well Elemental Seats spawn elementals and if you destroy them in maps that have them this spawn will stop.

In Advisor Map I get you also need destroy the Elemental Seat and the two dark portal to stop the Elementals summon. I could be wrong on this point but I don't understand the problem with Elementals Seats that don't work.

Not in this map. Nor in "The Ancient Lich". Nor the "Desert Defense" map (the Fire Elementals around it come from the edge of the map. And if destroying the seat should stop that I haven't noticed such behavior.

Like I said; just the Portals. The seat does nothing. I guess it *might* respawn the portals, but it takes too long to be noticable if it does (usually the Advisor goes down fast after the portals ;)).

In this mission, a cemetary down right fills up to five slots.

You mean up right (northeast)?

Yup, those graveyards seem to fill up with all the generic undead around (skeleton, skeleton archer, zombie, skeleton sniper, skeleton veteran). It's quite a challenge to have your heroes take them down since they are reluctant to wade through the horde of undead beings.

It seems more like a bonus area though, like the Dragon's Nest in "The Eternal Love". Several maps seem to have such bonus corners.

Shadows of the Past, there are many Elementals Seats. I'm almost 100% sure that destroy them stop the Elementals Spawning.

There are elementals coming from frontier but those have a very different behavior and don't do slow random wandering. Elementals that spawn from Seats wanderer with no target. This slow random wandering stops if they go close enough to a building and target it.

What can confuse you is that often they'll wanderer far from the Seat and from any of your buildings and even out of the limits of the map. Unlike Dens they don't have a spawn number limit. So some can cumulate and fake you when you see more coming after you destroyed the Seat.

I'm almost sure because I played once Shadows of the Past during a very long time and a long time after all seats was destroyed even those in north east corner. And I saw clearly the final stop of any Elementals from south east. Then none coming to north tradepost. Later none for north east corner but later because I let one or two seats alive a longer time.

For the bonus corners, right, but this one is rather well done with a good mood and the side effect minimal but still on final fight is a small plus.

Ok so they work only in some maps. There's a limit? That's possible but then it's at least 3 elementals I think. Well or it was an older spawn for another seats.

Portal have no limits are you agree on this? It's a spawn rate. For me it's the same for seats with a slower spawn rate. But I have no evidence of this.
