Hello,

Quick question that I wasn't able to find in search / google.

I'm Portugal. Through some good fortune I managed to PU England, and have +200 relations and 99+ prestige from exploring/colonies.

Unfortunately my king right now sucks (2/2/1). I got 'A Pretender Rises' 5/6/5 who I'd much rather have on my throne. If I let him break my country, etc to install himself - will that break my PU with England?

Thanks for the help!

PU lasts as long as your prestige is positive. Repeatedly collapsed to pretenders as Golden Horde with Ottomans as a minor in 1.7, so unless they changed that in 1.8, then yeah.
