Hello there.

The problem is the following:

When you press someone else's claim on a county or duchy he is supposed to become your vassal only if he is of your dynasty or when he'd be your de jure vassal.

As of right now however the following is true:
Counts always become your vassal.
Dukes become your vassal if they already hold a landed title in your de facto realm.

This leads to the task of expanding becoming laughably easy and in my opinion to a very boring game overall.

I don't have a save game right now but you can always just jump into a game that has been going for a few decades and reproduce it easily.

See http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...sion-about-pressing-claims-Incorrect-tooltips for further clarification if my post does not suffice.

Okay now, to add to it.

As reported in http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?590971-Wow-this-was-effective the ducal exploit holds true for kingdom-claimants too.

Now I'm not sure if this really is working as designed?

Let's say I'm the HRE and I want to add France to my dominion. All I have to do is invite a male claimant to my court, give him a barony in my dominion and then press his claim for France. Now France is my vassal. And while I'm at it I could marry that claimant matrilineally to some female kinsman so that my dynasty prestige skyrockets.

Painting the map my color has never been so easy.

I really hope that this is not how you want it to be because to me and quite a few others this is actually game breaking.

I want to have to wait a generation of careful planning so that I can finally put the heir of the female claimant I invited decades back and married to my brother on the throne of wherever.

- Has to be of your dynasty

Thank you for your time and I hope I've not been rude about this.
