In my current game the House of Godwin has conquered much of Iberia and one of my recently acquired vassals, the Duchess of Aragon, also has a (not inheritable) claim on the Kingdom of Navarra.

The Kingdom of Navarra has Agnatic-Cognatic Primogeniture as their succession laws so, in the absence of eligible males, a female ruler is permitted however the game does not let me press the Duchess of Aragon's claim for Navarra (not that I actually want to enforce the claim but I might want to press it and agree a white peace so that it can pass to my great grandson after I married my grandson to the Duchess).

Is this WAD that a male liege cannot press a female vassal's claim for a title which can be held by females?

Sorry, no, I didn't keep the save but hopefully the circumstances should be relatively easy for you guys to reproduce. If I see something similar again then I'll upload a save.

Okay, I've been able to reproduce a similar situation here, so I'll pass it along internally and we'll see what they say about it.

On a similar note I invited a female courtier with claims to a duchy and county of saxony who had agnatic-cognatic primo but I couldn't press her claims.

WAD?

The guy I invited worked fine tho :D

But my rulers seem to attract more elligable females and I like pressing their claims hehe...

I have seen a suggestion in the main forum that you can only press a female's claim if the target of the claim has Absolute Cognatic succession rules or, in cases where the succession as Agnatic-Cognatic, if all potential claimants are female so that there are no eligible males who could outrank your claim.

Is this correct?
