Preorder Payment Declined?

Alright, I've been trying to purchase the Field Marshall edition since it was released for purchase, but for some reason my payment gets declined?

This is a good card. I used it today and I plan to use it tomorrow. I would really prefer to pay on the PDX store to give them more money, but if the only way to get it to work is steam then so be it.

Does anyone know why my payments wouldn't go through?

I have the same problem with both credit cards. In my case I think its the problem, that I tried to do it with my smartphone and I'm on holiday in an other country. Will try it tomorrow when I'm back home.

I got an email back saying that it had something to do with my bank:
"Hey there!
I've gone over the logs and found all the transactions you've tried to place. I've also found the reason .
Basically the first transaction you made was refused by the bank and according to the logs I can see it relates to 3D secure having failed twice. As a result the bank gave you a fraud warning and prevented further transactions from being placed. This is why all your further orders were denied and your fraud score kept going up and up, effectively blocking you from further purchases.

This is a temporary measure though and tends to resolved itself after 24 hours of no further attempts being made. As such what I'd suggest is the following:
- Wait 24 hours, then make a new order and make sure you enter everything correct on the first try
- Call your bank and ask them if they can be a tad more lenient and remove the "cool down" period so you can order right away"

Not sure if this is what your issue would be as well, but I will try to purchase it again tomorrow and if it still fails I will contact my bank. Just a bit strange as I have never encountered this issue before when purchasing from the PDX store. I'll let you know how it turns out

I just bought from steam. I don't see much of a difference, thousands of people buy from both the paradox website and steam so they make a lot of money.

You always have to contact your bank when this happen. They think someone are trying to scam you or something so you need to let them know this was your payment.
