I thought it was a bit of mild ribbing personally - maybe you are not having a great day - hope it improves if this is the case.

I'm not, really. I spent a damn fortune on clothes the other day and now it's pissing with rain outside so I can't go out with them. I've got a terrible headache from waking up too early thanks to forgetting to turn off my alarm, and my phone isn't charging either. It looks like for my entire week off it will be pissing it down with rain and then when I go back to work it's going to be lovely again.

I completely blame all of these things on you.

Now that I've had my questioned answered and vented my frustration, I think it's time to stop posting.

I know I'm going to be either labeled as a the cancer of the gaming industry or somebody expecting too much from a small dev team, but wouldn't it be better to just release a set price for a 'season pass' even if it was just for sprite packs?

How do season passes work anyway? Do you get all the dlc released in that "season" and get to keep it, or do i lose the dlc included in the pass when the pass expires and i need to buy another one?

Yeah, season passes can be nice if you are planning to buy all DLC.

I think the problem with such a model here is that Paradox doesn't necessarily know how much DLC they will be providing, or how far out. So it's hard to really price it.

This. For example, with Borderlands 2, you could buy the season pass for 30 bucks, and you were promised at least 4 DLC normally priced at 10+ bucks each. However, the 5th DLC is not in the season pass, and you'd need to buy it separately - For that game, there was talk about a second season pass with another 4 dlc, but I think that didn't went through.

I am happy to see Paradox do this. Personally, I was very annoyed at the inability to updgrade from EU2 silver to EU2 gold. Glad to see they aren't repeating those mistakes.

I am still annoyed and disappointed at the Call to Arms thing. I preordered day one and they you do this to me, showing me that I can't even get everything this way. >_> Outrageous!

Not at the moment I think - the post seems to suggest you will be able to purchase the required DLC at launch - just my interpretation though.

Call to Arms is a disgrace.
The deluxe version should have included all day 1 DLC.
