Although the included soundtrack to CK is definitely enjoyable (as is the case with all of the Paradox titles), I have to say that today I'm listening to something that perfectly captures the mood of extending the iron grip of Georgia throughout Anatolia and Persia:

The soundtrack to Conan the Barbarian. A masterpiece by Basil Poledouris, it's simply perfect!

SO what you got? Who has a recommendation for CK music?

Funny, I started a simular thread years ago! lol.

I go through moods. I like the soundtrack of Kingdom of Heaven, very haunting. So I play that movie sometimes while I play. I have a few mideival movies on hand to put in the dvd while I play, such as the remake of The Lion in Winter with Glen Close as Eleanor of Aquitaine and with Patrick Stuart as King Henry II.

I like the battle sequence in the beginning of Gangs of New York, the one between the Dead Rabbits and their immigrant allies against the so-called New York "Natives". That music has such a strong Irish and African mix that it really gets your bood boiling and ready for battle. I love that movie.

My CK sound folder has various mixes. Most of it is dark sounding or atmospheric, containing some music from the Gabriel Knight series, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, iLiKETRAiNS, but yet also music from Victoria (the game of course :D), CIV4, Rammstein.. I think I have it all.

This is good, I'll have to check out the Kingdom of Heaven soundtrack.

Metal is a great idea too. Marry your stupid relatives to really annoying lame people, send them to crappy provinces in the middle of nowhere, all the while singing, "Master...Master....Master of Puppets is pulling your strings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (Good call Swezeru). There's some nice appropriate Iron Maiden (hell, "The Trooper" for Vicky and "Aces High" for HOI don't get much more appropriate).

@Drachenfire - I can remember plenty of arguments about EUII songs back in the early days (patch 1.01, 1.02? Who can remember. That's so BK - before kids). Personally, I still am of the opinion that those heretics who don't like the Falalalan song need force converting! :)
