Hey all, I have a question.
I am currently playing a Stellaris campaign with a friend and we have the Mass Effect Theme mod (don't know if that's relevant info so I clarify this just to be sure) enabled as the only active mod. I have never been able to finish a Precursor event so I was quite stoked that I actually got 4 precursor anomalies in 1 system. Afterwards I managed to up the total to 5, but after that, complete silence. Now I know that after awhile something might happen regarding the precursors if no-one finds their homeworld. This has just happened to me. It was a message about merchant shipping in a system and a hint about a precursur anomaly in that same system. I was in a war though so I had to click the message away because my fleets were under attack. Now I can't find the anomaly anywhere. My situation log only shows the 5 anomalies that I have researched so far and I have scoured the entire galaxy looking for it but to no avail.
Do I have to send a fleet to that specific system in order for the anomaly to fire? If that's the case then I'm kinda scr**** because I don't remember the name. If that's not the case, is there a screen where I can see all unresearched anomalies? Or a screen where you can look back on older events/messages, like a log? Apart from this I'm also not really sure what you get from that message anyway because this is the first time I've even been close to solving a precursor mystery. It only mentioned them but I don't know if I was supposed to get an anomaly or a research option or something entirely different. The primary reason why I ask this is because the campaign does have some bugs so I'm not sure if I'm dealing with one or that I'm just overlooking stuff. The curators situational log event has completely stopped working and some diplomatic options have placeholder names as an example. I just hope that it isn't a bug and that I can still finish the event. Thanks in advance.
