We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
I think Paradox tries to compress the pre-order time window to concentrate the daily orders, this then pushes the game to the steam top 10 sellers, gaining a lot of free publicity. And since paradox fans are hardcore gamers in general, they will keep up with the news instead of just forgetting about the game if they don't pre-order it immediately.
it will most likely be a day after stellaris comes out so May 10th i say maybe even May 4th, but most likely around those dates
