Paradox Interactive Offers Transit Simulation Sequel to Mac and PC Players

NEW YORK — March 19, 2013 — Paradox Interactive, a publisher of games and owner of bus passes, announced today that pre-orders are now available for Cities in Motion 2, their forthcoming transit simulation and design game for PC and Mac. Players can pre-purchase the dynamic strategy title now from the game’s new website, located at www.citiesinmotion2.com. Cities in Motion 2 is scheduled to launch on April 2, 2013 for $19.99.

As a bonus for all pre-purchases of Cities in Motion 2, early adopters will receive the “Modern Collection” DLC which includes additional trolley buses, trams, and a boat for water lines. The Modern Collection also introduces a new stop type, which allows trams, buses, and trolleys to share the same stop and allow passengers to switch vehicles with ease, and therefore minimize congestion.

Depending where you live in Australia and East Asia. The region is around 8-12Hrs ahead of Europe and between 12-16Hrs ahead of the USA. I hope it's not a 3rd of April release for us. An extra day of waiting if so!!

Currency converter

Like usually, an unfair currency conversion for the Euro-zone. However, I was really staggered when seeing it's only 20€. That's nothing, guys! I'd buy it for 40€. Don't sell yourself short

Can I actually buy directly from the paradoxplaza shop in EUR? It either shows USD or GBP (switching randomly when clicking the link on the CIM2 homepage ) but never EUR.

Also pre-ordered on Steam. Really looking forward to this, so is my wife. After being let down horribly by Sim City, I'm hoping this [CiM2] is actually finished.

Anyhow, back to playing CiM1 since I can't bring myself to watch another city fail in that other game.
