Pre-Ordered from Green Man Gaming, can anyone confirm if i am right about the DLC delivery?

So as i understand it heres how it works:
1: After buying the game, you get the game code in a mail from GMG (I did, activated on steam no problems, included War stories DLC, still wondering how that part works)
2: The game you activate is called Hoi4, Field Marshall edition. So im guessing all the stuff you get for Pre-ordering is baked into that specific designation of the game (Music, DLC packs, unit packs ETC) or will i receive that closer too the games release via mail? Im really confused on this and would appreciate it if anyone that knows or paradox staff would confirm

All content will be downloaded through Steam when the game releases.
War stories though is out now which you can play now on the app.

War Stories has a FAQ pinned up top, it has installation instructions. All the DLC stuff is in the game itself, besides the artbook, etc, which should be released with the game or accessed through your PDX account (accessed with the PDX symbol in the very top upper right).

But I am wondering where you saw that message that said you activated the Field Marshall edition.

Steam's game activation says HoI4: FM Edition.

Alright, I am not sure I paid attention to that message. Just a little wary about this purchase because I normally only get games through Steam. That and when I got to link the product to my forum profile, to verify the right tier it is not adding it even though it has been activated on Steam and in my library.

I guess, I should be a little patient...

Edit: I feel better now, got the icon and it linked via Steam.

Same here. The icons can take a minute to load, or you can speed the process by refreshing your "Owned Items" list in one's profile.
