I've CK2 on GG with nearly all DLC, the game installed EU4 on steam and now there's a CK2 game there also?

How can I convert save files from my CK2 game (with the DLC) to EU4

Run CK2 with the converter ON (should be listed as all DLC on the launcher), load game, enter menu, voila.

And if the converter is NOT there in the launcher? As many people did here, I ordered the digital deluxe copy on GG, and moved the steam keys over. No sign of the DLC on the steam side, even though I added the key...

Came with the 100 years war dlc but nothing else

I must have read through this thread twice , but I'm still a bit confused so perhaps a more straight forward question is in order .

I have EUIV from Steam (although I have it on GG as well) . All of my CK2 stuff is on GG only .

I have a Steam key for the CK2 -> EUIV converter but it won't install it for me ?

I'm guessing because I don't have a steam version of CK2 ? Is there any way to fix this ?

Hey guys, I don't think I found exact answer to my issue in this thread, so here it goes.

I've pre-ordered EU4 from GreenManGaming and received two keys - one for EU4 and one for bonus content. I activated EU4 key, but from bonus content I'm interested in activating only Converter and EU4 bonus stuff, so I can keep Crusader Kings 2 key and give it to a friend. What should I do to activate all but CK2 from bonus content key they send me?

*UPDATE* Don't worry if you have to wait a week for your key, we are working as fast as we can but we are mere humans with the need for sleep and food. If you sent us a ticket, then you'll get a reply from us sooner or later.

Have you checked your Zen Desk ticket for updates? I never received an email confirmation that it had been done, but getting impatient today I checked the ticket and it had in fact been done a few days ago...

This is ridiculous. I've waited 3 days for support, I expected to get CK2 in my inventory when I pre-ordered EU4. Please, just give me CK2, so I can gift it.

Mine is 8 days now, and it's not even assigned. Anyhow, I wouldn't hope to play anytime soon if I was you. Patience I guess, even tho we are passing week wait times atm.

Found the converter on Gamersgate, many thanks Paradox for fixing this oversight, to others waiting for a solution to their particular issues, keep the hope up! I had to deal with them in the past for other minor issues and they were glad to help, so as it's hinted at first post they might be just a bit overwhelmed by the requests and it will take some time.

omg - I RE-bought EUIV from GamersGate as you said it was not linked to STEAM at all and WHAM, you are directed to activate in STEAM. WHY?!!! Is there no other way to play EUIV but stinking STEAM? DOES_NOT_WORK
