I purchased the Field marshal Edition as it had alot more extras and thought it was worth it.
I was watching the Live stream yesterday and unless i heard wrong is everyone now getting the wall paper, the first expansion and content pack for free? (i think i heard book also?)

It says that the expansion Pass 1 and it related content is valued at $49.99 am i right to assume that i get the next 3 expansions at no extra cost as the first one is already given out or am i only getting 1 further expansion? because one expansion is not worth $50.

Also what did i buy that was so special if everyone now gets a large portion for free?

No, the free special DLC isn't related to the major expansions. The major expansions will still cost money unless you got the field Marshal Edition in which case the two first expansions will be free.

In a nutshell, you will get precisely what you paid for, while in addition you and everyone else will also get something that you didn't pay for.

No, the free special DLC isn't related to the major expansions. The major expansions will still cost money unless you got the field Marshal Edition in which case the two first expansions will be free.

Marshal Edition owners will get for free the next two expansions + their related contents, so 2 expansions + 2 DLCs.
