Hello!
Anyone knows about when we can pre-order Europa Universalis IV? Or is there any announcements about it?

Billing address is the address tied to your credit/debit card account (or whatever else you are paying with). When we are at this topic, can I have some questions about steam purchasing? I have a steam account, but I didn´t purchase anything through it yet (I prefer boxes when I can, but I´ll make an exception for EUIV). So, billing adress is town, street and a house number? And also, shuld I use diacritics when I live in a country that uses it or should I write it without it? (for example Náměšť or Namest) Thank you.

Steam is accepting alpha state games to help with their funding and development now. Paradox, why won't you let us help with your funding?!
CEO Fredrik is already quite wealthy.Steam is accepting alpha state games to help with their funding and development now. Paradox, why won't you let us help with your funding?!

Let me think, Digital. Maybe because they are a serious, respectable, run for profit company, and they do not need any help with their funding? Maybe because releasing a half-finished game is costly? Cause you know, they do have a reputation that would be at stake. And some people would not care if this is alpha or not - they would give the game bad reviews (and they would be fully entitled, as this would be half-finished product) and some of this negative opinions would still be around after the final release. And it would be detrimental to the total sales of the game and the profit it generates. Financing through the release of alpha is fine for start-ups. This allows them to finish the game and they have nothing to lose. For grown-up companies this is, in most of cases, out of question. Seriously, Digital, do you think you know better how to run this business then Paradox executives?

+1
And get an access to an early beta maybe?
(One can always hope)
Not like he was assassinating babies or something...
:/
Trying to see it from the developer's perspective I'm not sure how valuable beta testing for a game such as EUIV is. I also think it's a bit of a cheap way for some companies to get money for their product before it's ready for release, so they make an early "fake release".
Steam-only doesn't mean that there won't be a boxed version.Didn't they already say this game will be Steam-only? As in, there is no retail boxed version?
