Not gonna pre-order if it doesn't run on Vista 64. Haven't been able to see anything other than the initial spash-screen. Guess I'll miss out on the free expansion. :wacko:

For me it put it in a sub-folder of the downloader. The path relative to the GG downloader was \GamersGate temporary files\7531

However to actually re-run the install files I had to run the downloader again. It just checks the files, and then runs the installer.

Drakton, the beta ran nicely on my vista 64 rig, so I assume the game itself will do so as well...although GG have to furnish me with a key before I could say for sure

Hm, I am using Vista and could not find the GG temporary files folder, altough I did try hard. Any ideas about that?

The downloader will only keep the files if you tell it to. After you quit the installer you get 3 choices; delete files, rerun installation and keep files. If you picked 'delete files' you'll have to download the files again.

That said, I had to run the downloader to be able to re-run the installer. Otherwise I just got the launcher and clicking on Install just exited.

You can do a search for eic_setup-1a.bin, that's the data file downloaded.
