Pre-order item bonus

In the FAQ thread it says it will show up in the inventory. Will it be for only one character(the first one i make) or all?

A notice for people who might have ended up on the same spot as me; if Steam downloaded the Pre-Order Items as a DLC while you were in character creation or after, you don't get the items. You'll have to start over. So, if you care about them and don't have them in your inventory, it's better to start over before you dive in the game any further.

I was thinking that maybe I'd get them later in the game but I asked on the Obsidian Twitch stream and Brian Heins said that you should have them in your inventory at the very beginning and that there was an issue with Steam not downloading them. Props to him again for the answer!

Okay, I don't have it but I think many will notice too late. I think a patch would be good, I don't think many are too keen to start all over again for 2 items.

Hi, I don't get the pre-order Items.
I preloaded the game in the night and started to play tonight. The pre-order items are not shown as DLC (there is only the ringtones DLC), and they are not in the inventory of the character.
So I closed the game and steam and started new, and made a new character. And the same: no pre-ordered items (fatebinders seal and comanders will boots).
I got the game at http://www.mmoga.de , so not direct at steam or paradox.
what can I do?

Have the same problem Silvasurfer, and i have buy the game on mmoga too.

Paradox-support says the sale from mmoga is not a pre-order sale from mmoga.de
Mmoga support, says it must be work.

That vendor is not an official partner of ours. Any problems you have with the keys needs to be taken up with them. We've not provided them with pre-order keys, nor any keys at all, and therefore you will not get pre-order items (since they were limited to official partners only).

Hello i have the same problem with my Tyranny Commander Edition. I dont get any pre-order bonuses or any DLC that should be included in the commander edition.

Paradox site dont even list that i own the game. And i cant add to my list of own games either.

Longtime supporter of paradox games. Please help an old swedish gubbe.

oh, i realized it now, thanks Scooby4ever.
Tyranny is also not listet on my paradox account.
Its funny, its in the steam-library but not in paradox account (but all other games)

The reason it doesn't show on your Paradox Account page is because you didn't buy it from our store .
Again, if you bought it from another vendor besides us, please contact them. If they are an official partner we provided them with pre-order keys, however, as I explained about the mentioned website isn't hence you won't get the items.

Most of my games listed on paradox is bought through steam. But this time i bought it from cdkeys.com 1 day prior to release because i wanted pre-order items as i collect your games as iam huge fan. Dissapointed if i cant get hold of the pre-order items.

Iam also wondering why i dont get the commander edition DLC as i bought the commander edition ???

This is the reason you don't buy games from shady pages that have deals that look way too good to be true, you don't get what you pay for. I can guarantee you that the page you mention is a black market retailer and you could actually find your game deactivated in the future. Why? Because most keys are obtained via stolen credit card details and when that is discovered the keys sold are disabled, meaning you not only lost your money but also the game.

1. The speed of the exchange does not matter. If you have stolen credit card information you can buy some keys as a 'supply' without any issues.
2. Bringing down a website is difficult, even if it advocates terrorism, child pornography or such evil things. The legal position of these sites depends on the laws of the countries, you are in, they are in, where their servers stand,etc. Whether it is illegal at all is questionable, they are usually not selling these things themselves but rather connect you with someone who does. Similar to streaming websites it is a grey area, depending on the respective laws. And if the mighty film industry can't crush these streaming websites, it is very unlikely that the Gaming industry can lobby enough for legislation dealing with the issue of G2A, MMOGA, etc.
3. They are not really supported by these youtubers, but rather the other way around. They receive money for promoting the website to their viewers. By that these sites obviously receive attention, customers and legitimacy.

Just because an website ends with .de doesn't mean it is based in Germany. In fact if you check their impressum you'll notice that they're oficially sitting in:

So if you are a customer or a game developer trying to sue this company you might need to do so in HK or mainland china.

I have been in contact with the shop and they say they use authorized distributors and dont understand your statement. Can you please investigate why i have no DLC for my Commander edition? Because last time i checked Tyranny is only sold in 3 versions and all with DLC but i only got the game ??? Iam talking about the ringtone, forum icons and forum avatars for the Commander Edition of Tyranny.

Also iam interested in upgrading to Archon edition, will there be a upgrade option on steam?

If you're asking for a list, I'm afraid I can't help you. Steam, Origin, GOG and GMG would be safe bets though.
