Pre-order, but no demo?

Hey guys, please be nice to each other.

To have a demo is a perfectly reasonable request and we would love to do it. But the harsh truth is that making a demo, and most of all maintaining it, is a lot of work and cost resources. In the past we failed at this and the demos generated more complaints than value I think, so we decided that the resources are better spent elsewhere. Not all will agree ofc, and I respect that. It's our decision however.

We hope that with Steam's more generous refund policies and the option to do free weekends, there will be satisfactory replacements. I hope you will accept this reasoning, even if you don't agree.

As for the person advocating refunding and then using a grey market site - hope you don't get your info stolen or key revoked because you don't want to just pay a fair price for a game you enjoy.

Info stolen? PayPal.
Key revoked? consumer protection laws/PayPal customer protection/bank charge back.

As a responsible consumer in a free market, it's my job to buy from the cheapest source.

Publishers are the ones who are operating unethically by price rigging different regions of what is supposed to be the EU single market.

paypal doesn't cover digital goods....

Comon... 40-60 dollars for dozens if not hundreds or even a thousand hours of entertainment. That is cheap and I don't know many things you can use your time with that has that low cost per hour spent on it.
