for this kind of games my worry is about the performance. many late games become unplayable after the city grows
how is cities: skylines

Oh, so it's not like CIM2.or lack of response.
In all honesty if I had known this before I bought from Paradox I would have stopped the order and gone straight to the steam store and got it that way...
So now I just got an email which only has my order number on it, and paradox gets to hold my money until release day earning interest while I have no steam key showing that I have actually purchased the game..
Can you give us a reason why paradox will not give us our steam keys now TotalyMoo? - It's not as if we can do anything with them, but at least we KNOW we actually have the game we paid for...
*** goes hides in corner before being accused of causing trouble ***
PS Edit: Maybe you should also get Paradox to change the wording on their store page, it states:
i thought i saw it for pre-order yesterday @29.99 normal game and 39.99 for deluxe....that seems to have changed today (uk)
Just preordered it! Damn you CO!![]()
About the performance I think it will be okay CIM 2 had some problems when the city got very busy with trams and busses and stuff.
I promised myself not to preorder anything anymore but I just couldn't resist![]()
Sorry for that unclarity. The reason we can't give you keys now is because there's no way to "delay release" on a key. If you have it then you have access to the game.
That's what I intended. Take down as many people as possible.10 seconds later,
*clicks preorder button*

It's just that they made CIM 2 so much better than CIM 1 (which was awesome already) and I thought at that point: Well I kinda can already build a city in CIM 2 so why don't they build on that code and do a simulation? Have a year later Cities: Skylines was announced.![]()
And they seem to have fun at their offices which tells me they love their game and have fun with it![]()
I can only refer to developement at my firm and if we really love a game it will be greatYeah, they do seem like they're enjoying making this game...
making me question... are they really making it or is this a way to lure us in and end the world?...

I would be happy to be spending my time before the end of the world playing CSL![]()
