Sorry, can't say I ever found an event chain that uses a text interface. Seems kind of clunky- why would they implement a mechanic that doesn't let you use the mouse cursor?
Well, I got a few notifications that precursor artifacts have been found in several systems but no anomalies spawned. Later I found an anomaly in a system previously belonging to a rival AI, so hadn't access to it until i conquered it. After I researched this anomaly a second one appeared in the same system which I also researched. And now I'm stuck with 7/6 artifacts and don't know if and how I can continue the chain.
I had the same issue except I had an anomaly spawn on a planet that already had one previously. You should automatically get the system location when you complete the 6th anomaly even if you have more. My last game I had 5 completed and 2 available when I finished the 6th the 7th anomaly disappeared and I got the special project to explore the system.
