do u realize u are trying to go around a problem without addressing the problem? yea i can go there but why do i need to go there to fix outdated mechanic?

The discussed mechanics are not outdated. On the contrary, its main deficiency was eliminated with last update(hegemony).

There's nothing in the game that's going to stop you from taking full advantage of power projection over 50 throughout whole game. In the beginning, you have a variety of ways to generate it.

When you get to 1 spot in major powers, there are fewer ways. But you also have a bonus of 25 (I think) so you don't need 3 rivals. Often one is enough (if pirates are used).

Once you're too strong to be a rival to anyone in the world, then you can go after "hegemony" and you're back above 50 (thanks to the latest update).

Your problem is that you refuse to comply with the rules of mechanics. For this you are rightfully punished by low power projection. Intimidating weak opponents is not a show of strength, it's bullying, and you can't expect any bonuses (points of power projection) from bullying week countries. Either find an opponent of the adequately strength or say farewell to the three mana points.

LOL punished. Yea "super punished". I am trembling in fear of this "super punishment". Punishment really? At the point when nothing can really challenge me anymore and i play just to test how new trade company system works?
And hegemony is probably 50-100 years away. Which was interesting addition to the late game and it kind of cover this problem in the LATE game. But in the mid game there is still a wide gap in this system - one that u are failing really hard to acknowledge. It is still a dumb mechanic. And i would really like for it to be fixed.
