I jsut witnessed a strange thing that happened. I am unsure if it is the consequence of HIP mod that I am using, or it can also happen in vanilla, but i do believe that it is not mod-related.
Long story short, I'm Herbert Karling of Vermandois, 1066 start, King Phillipe of France sets up an anti-pope, William the Conqueror declares papal war on him in 1075 or so. Well William dies in battle, and his son and heir Richard (firstborn Robert died) is captured in battle. So far so good, the war ends, Richard stays captive of Phillipe. Fast forward some 5 or so years, Richard is still captured, Phillipe declares de jure war over Normandy, which goes to 100% on the first day, since the King of England is already his prisoner...
So... I'm guessing something should be done, this can be exploited, it's a rare situation, and more important, one that could easily happen in real life.. but I kinda feel, especially if done by human, that it's way too easy.
Maybe I just want de Normandie to keep hold of England while they quarrel with France so I can get HRE or France.
