I have so much population due to having a lot of chinese provinces and inciviliced countries. I also declared colonial war on France, Russia and Germany to have nearly all Africa, Alaska and some islands in Pacific Ocean.
You must provide a screen of your empire. I'm especially curious as to how Argentina managed to get off intact right next to uber-Chile.

But coastal chilean provinces has high population due to chinese inmigrants (Santiago has 10 million people, Constitucion 6 million, Concepcion 5, Talca 5...)
I did the same Chile game a while ago, only difference was I focused on my homeland. By the end I had no less than 125 million Chileans (south andean) and countless minorities living in Chile. BTW was this Revolutions or 1.04?

Is southern africa more valuable than the empty provinces? And how did you get it from UK?

Soarom: British South Africa has a couple of precious metal provinces and a few Dutch POPs, which makes it quite valuable. I bought it from them with tech and cash in the 1890s having already colonised most of southern Africa.
