its not actually, that map came about after i humiliated Bohemia in a war and emperorship passed to Brunswick, who apparently were very popular in the HRE as everyone started accepting religious unity, allowing them to unite the HRE.

my medling in HRE business caused the HRE to unify...

Asia i had no business in except causing Persia to collapse after a war with them.

Lithuania then moved in, though their falling apart now as well, thanks to fighting a 4 front war against: Me, the HRE, Novgorod and an Alliance of Central Asian states.

currently i'm consolidating myself (building province upgrades in every province) and gearing up for war with France, i need to cut back on my tech investment since i'm around 2 tech levels ahead of the rest of Europe now

Sweden got Mobile colonized from Karelia without any advisors and no Quest for the new World, in 1473.

today reinstalled EU3+NA+IN+HTTT after not getting the map cache right.

After reinstall, the map cache is still corrupt. the Jalayirids patrol Mobile Bay from Basra. and after throwing every cache in the bin, Sweden is able again to colonize Mobile.

It seems some programmer left the company and they can't make a stable game anymore. 3.2 was also unfinnished

Fresh from last night: Venice 1480s, midsized, some infamy (8-10). I tried to take advantage of Mamelukes' troubles, so I got intro a war with Ottomans and Dehli (leader) as well.

It turned out Egypt was swarming with several pretenders, fielding bigger armies than the regular government could; time for white peace. In the meantime, a few HRE minors that I wanted to pick at attack me, greatly simplifying my life. Shortly after, the Ottomans, surprinsingly let me off the hook for free, too. Great! Everything is going my way, I grab some good provinces, and I'm on top of the world.

I accumulate a little war exhaustion and infamy, and Dehli stays stubbornly at war, but who cares? Well, the AI relative strength calculators might.

In fact, France soon insults and warns me, then cancels military access I'd given them, and so does Austria...oh oh! I try to give it back, but, horror, I have no diplomats. When I get one, Dehli still won't let me go at any price (curse them!). DOWs soon follow from both France and Austria. Fine! Do your worst, I survived situations like this before, holed up in my island.

Every province is overrun but Venice, and some 40,000 enemy troops pile up in Treviso. So what? In a few years we'll have a white peace.

So, I begin some minor operations to retake Crete, left unguarded, and get a little distracted by that and my baby daughter crying.
Then I notice that somehow my fleet patroling in and out of Venice has been shredded by Naples and Aquileia. My reserve fleet, of course, is all the way in Crete. Oh, dear!

Probably a corruption of something, but savegames can be manually edited to be fixed. Post in the tech support forum and ask for help. (One common thing is colonists crossing the dateline - any strange colonizers in the Americas?)

well there was one moment when I could say Oh dear, when I was 5 months out of a very long war with Genoa(I waited that their provinces in South Russia defect to Crimea and Candar so that they become an OPM) Austria attacked me, who was HRE at the moment together with their allies+Genoa . But then I was like FUCK YEAH becouse Hungary attacked them becouse of their excommunication. Long story short, Austria got gangbanged, lost all of their gold producing provinces to me(only 9BB ). And I annexed Genoa, the last province required to form Italy.

Damn I'm so lucky

To form Italy you need Rome,Urbino(Ancona?),Siena and one more province,can't remember which one,and cores of them.No need for others ;/

I remember like 20 years before my Georgia campaign was over, I had pretty dominated most of the Middle East and some of North Africa.. but then I had nearly 65 infamy and I found myself at war with Russia. I wanted to end this as soon as I could, however.. Russia wasn't easy to suppress and then major revolts occured and Persia declared war on me. I lost Egypt, Tripoli, Hedjaz, most of my Persian provinces that had apparently revolted against Russia...

I saw tons of provinces lost, but oh well, I had converted nearly all of the Middle East and I was happy.

Playing as Scotland, and aiming to get a Scottish Empire without uniting Great Britain, I forced a Personal Union with England. I managed to get a good amount of troops, with mercenaries funded by the war subsidies from Burgundy and France as backup during the unification war, but that was a miracle alone.
England obviously didn't agree with the idea of a Personal Union, so they decided it was in the better interest of the English people to attack me.
With France being destroyed by Castille, and Burgundy busy in two wars, no one came to my assistance and my entire nation was soon besieged by 30,000 English troops.
