who cares

the before 3 mentioned people are all helping hands in WWM, we never really played that mod much, namely because it crashed every once so often, and i got a heart attack from what they did to the map

totally WWM deserves its own subforums with 4000+ downloads (im not sure of exact number i know its around there, even over 5000)

Don't be mean to MEIOU or gigau. He's a hard working modder, and he helped me get WWM off the ground way back when it was practically a personal project.

Unimpressive, of course, but in 1408 with Munster. Vassalized Connaught and magically happened to get a PU with Tyrone!

Unfortunately, about a month later the England-train came a-running down on poor Connaught...

My current game which i started as tyrone. Its currently 1600. I propably should have stayed as Ireland but i formed the netherlands for the extra centralisation and national decisions.

Im quite happy with the fact that I never been above 2% inflation and have the highest techs, which Ive never managed to do in previous ireland games.

Westernized Empire of Shawnee, 1675.
Currently in war against the Portuguese, who have their capital in Delaware.

Austria is in Denmark, Greece, actually all over the place.

There hasn't been a Poland in centuries. But Mazovia and Danzig are doing fine.

The brownish color in Quebec, Nova Scotia, Surinam, Nigeria and Patagonia is Holland.

Sweden went on a crusade against the Mamluks and took some totally worthless desert.

Milan annexed the Pope!

how did you beat England?

In a long and painful war. They annexed leinster then DoWed me when I had the taken the other 2 irish provs. I sent my army to attack theirs and sponsered patiot rebels to help. After their small army was killed I just waited for their provs to defect and just killed the armies they sent against me 1 at a time.

Because of retardedly low mp they managed to occupy a couple of provs while I was reinforcing, but once i was back to full strength i quickly took them back. WE then started to cripple them, and Brittany and Burgandy seeing how weak they were DoWed them.

Eventually i managed to sneak some troops on a couple of cogs while their fleet was occupied and landed them in Scotland (which i had earlier vassilised after england raped them) By this time they had only a very small army which i quickly killed and then occupied them. Then I just waited for scottish provs to defect back before demanding 4 provs.

After the war they repeatedly went bankrupt until they had inflation of over 900%! It was pretty easy to beat them in subsequent wars because of their shitty morale.

But within a year of this war finishing France DoWed me to try and annex the 4 provs i had just taken in the netherlands....

I'm playing a game as the Byzantines from 1402. At this point the Turks are getting crushed by pretender rebels, and I felt it was cheap at first, but I'm playing on hard (plus once the pretenders take over they have a massive army, so it evens out). The Byzantines will get crushed in a straight war and have no natural allies.

After regaining Jania, Macedonia, Erdine and Albania from the Turk, I left the Ottomans to their internal struggle. I then set my sights on Venice, who was engaged in a war with its neighbors in a lopsided struggle. Seeing that Venice's naval might was no longer protecting its Greek possessions, I DOWed her and then invaded Corfu and Crete. Venice was quick to cede both to me during peace negotiations.

Looking for more opportunities to recover lost Byzantine lands, I saw that Cyprus was only protected by France's guarantee of independence. France was engaged in war with England, and only had 4 cogs -- Cyprus soon was restored to the Orthodox realm.

The time was then ripe to drive the Turk away from European lands -- the Ottomans were engaged in war with a panoply of nations, including Austria, Genoa the Mamluks, Jalyrahids, Poland, and others with the Golden Horde on her side. After Genoa had obliterated the Ottoman fleet, naval superiority rested with me, and Turkish forces were split between Bulgaria and Anatolia. Following a DOW, Ottoman forces were annihilated piecemeal and eventually all of Ottoman lands were occupied. The price of peace was the remainder of the Ottoman's Balkan holdings, along with Bursa and ducats.

The final touch of restoring Greece to the Byzantine Empire -- now flush with cash -- was to inspire Byzantine patriot uprising in Athens, Naxos and Achea, all Catholic Latin imposters in Greece.

I then fought a succession war with Meissan over Hungary's throne, and quickly won. Now with a massive realm (I'll do my best to hold on to Hungary, though it may be difficult), I plan on snapping up Rhodes, while planning a final stroke against the Turkish holdings in Western Anatolia.

Here's my British Empire in all it's glory (well actually there's not much glory at the moment)!

eu3mapgbr1712851.jpg

I've just managed to defeat France in yet another war with the help of the massive Castille. I've now fragmented them into Foix, Provence, Champagne, Orleannais and a few other tiny states, which I'm actually quite proud of. I also managed to recently squeeze out some French provinces for myself, though they still have a nationalism RR of around 9(!!!)...

Now my once ally, Castille is my major threat although the Timurids are starting to recover from there costly, war with Russia (Russia forced them to release Persia and a good few Indian states too). I jumped in when the Timmys were weakened and stole most of Timurid China, which is now my economic powerhouse tbh. I'm still figuring out how to increase my colonies in America without going to war with Castille...any thoughts? Or should I concentrate on something else.

Cheers

Gentlemen, behold. The New Roman Empire, circa 1790.

EU3_MAP_BYZ_1790731_1.jpg

Currently at war with... well, everyone. My first goal was to bring the Byzantine Empire back to its feet. Then my secondary goal was the original East Roman Empire lands.

Then I had a side project; eliminate all Sunni nations and convert all of their provinces. I've only got three left. Oman is Shiite, so they're okay. And they're my most useful vassal. Most of eastern europe, and several northern european countries are vassals only because I don't have the prestige to kick them out and wardec them.

Stability costs 80,000 ducats or more per level at this point. Income's around 2800 a month with 4300 at the end of the year. Stability is a moot point except when our most gracious queen should embarrass the court, as any nation that I want land from now will regularly wardec me or warn me to not wardec someone.

It doesn't show, but GB's current Britain holdings are infested with over 80,000 pretender and various nationalist/patriot rebels thanks to me. Current HRE is Portugal, but there are only four electors and three of them are my vassals. The last is Austria.

Here's my first game ever n EU3 (hence the 'vanillaness') as England. It's 1543 and I've been at war with France for 32 years now - there WE is at 18.51 and their whole coastline is blockaded, yet they're still not imploding...

Yes, they were huge and were very powerful - at their peak they had nearly 300 000 soldiers! However, for some reason they kept having internal problems and when Russia DOWed them they just couldn't stand up. They lost 2/3 of their military in that war, which was perfect for me of course

In 1764 the Byzantine empire conquered the world...

BYZWC_map.jpg

This in 3.0, no mods or cheats. Started 1399.

Damn I'm tired of rebells now. Ended up with 1428 BB.

Well, i'm a begginer and i don't want to disturb anyone but i would like to ask you and everyone something. How can you manage all that? I want to say: how do you control the rebels? only national ideas or something else? how do you figth all the nations with that huge badboy? And for not latin or westerned nations, how do you obtain a high tech level? Thanks
