Meh. Not saying it's not impressive and all but what's the point in WCs? For me a real WC would be when you have converted all provinces to your religion, built all the possible buildings (except the factories and such) and have a RR not above 5-6. Of course as well as staying in your BB limit.

Otherwise it seems just too gamey for me, ignoring most of the game's features just to quickly grab land and its over. Like its some FPS or something :D

You can obviously define a WC the way you want.:p Just quickly grab land?..think of handling RR and WE, and take care of you stability, while being militarily on the move continuously. You must really be a decent veteran player for successfully achieving a WC. BTW: I am not yet that far.

I never said it's easy or that it doesn't require a really skilled player. All I say is that I don't like it and don't see the fun in it. :D

I had more provinces in North America but i released Quebec and Mexico as vassals and sold them a few provinces, and some to USA as well, to fix some borders :p

I wouldn't have been all over the place like that, but I guess it had something to do with this:

1727.
EU3_8_cr.jpg

1805.
EU3_9_cr.jpg

but I must say it brought more fuss than I expected as I had to rebuild the army and navy all over the world, because they didn't leave me theirs :D

btw I'm really not a fan of colonizing, I like my empire compact :p

Some would cause his achievement a 'WD' or world domination. All he would really have to do now is colonize, so the hard part is over.

Finally finished with a somewhat rping game as the Republic of Italy and Greece (starting as Venice). Amusing things to note are my vassal Armagnac colonising all over the place, Haiti on Jamaica while Venezuela's on Haiti, Scandanavia having Denmark and Norway break free from it and Castille losing quite a bit of its original territory (they mysteriously switched to Protestant despite having no provinces with it in Iberia and the rebellions tore them up). Now that I've finally gotten all the way to 1821 in a game of IN, I can move onto HTTT feeling satisfied.

So where in your RP were you able to rationalize taking France? :p

Mussolini?

He avenged the Italian deaths suffered in the Italian Wars of the 16th century.;)

So where in your RP were you able to rationalize taking France? :p

Mussolini?

After I first beat France I had them release a whole bunch of French minors, and then even more appeared in the subsequent rebellions. These minors starting declaring war on each other and so I joined in and vassalised the aggressor. After this happened a few times I decided to take on the title of 'Guardian of France' or something like that, since I was coming to the defence of the minors so often. I systematically vassalised the minors, including France itself eventually, while pushing out non-French/Italian nations (mainly Aragon and Flanders) from the french culture provinces. I figured that over time (250 years in fact, the inital collapse of France happened around 1550) 'defending' would become 'controlling' (via diploannex).

It's probably not realistic, but that's why it's only slightly roleplaying. >_>

Provence rolls again.

France was my vassal at one point (the irony). Then I decided to kick 'em out of Europe.
Lithuania and Prussia were vassals as well, got released not too long ago and got a beating.
Morocco sure got lots of sand, but it's a paper tiger.
I could also form the European Union in a few years, but that won't happen since I ended that game at that point.

Holy cow. Great job on that empire.

Funny to see Morocco down there and France limited to the west coast of North America.
