Are you playing HTTT? I ask because of France. (Though, perhaps they fared better in this game because you were allies with them!)
Yeah it's HttT. From what I remember France used to kick ass. How did HttT change that?

Lol @ the huge Gotland!
The Americas look very colorful to me. I don't even recognize many of the nations. Like who is that off-white nation in New Brunswick?
The Bzy are doing pretty well. That doesn't often happen without some help.
Whats up with China? The Ming are no where to be seen, but they haven't been replaced by the Manchu.
I had to google New Brunswick. That's the Papal State, they had more colonies but lost them in wars.
I made the Ottomans release Byz in a peace deal. Then I allied Byz and blocked the Ottomans with my mediterrean fleet whenever they tried to mess with them. But that was after Austria kicked Otto out of the balkans.
Never payed much attention to asia but I think that's Xia(?) instead of Ming.

Well, my Russia game has progressed well! I had almost reached the historical borders of 1821 Russia, and was militarily secure when this event came along....

eu3game2010-03-2117-33-49-51.jpg

I've never inherited anything before in EU3, and in this game I inherited Moldavia...and now THIS.

This is my empire before:

EU3_MAP_RUS_1646727_2.jpg

And this is AFTER: (1655)

EU3_MAP_RUS_1655717_2.jpg

And this is the world in the aftermath of the takeover. Because I got cores with inheriting, I have 90% core provinces, and because of the quick Russian vs. Tartar culture shift I'm about 75% Russian culture.

EU3_MAP_RUS_1655717_1.jpg

Note the Papal States England has become beastly. France died a horrible, slow death, swallowed by Burgundy. Hungury had got to level 5 of the Imperial reforms (where it becomes hereditary), so I stepped in and dismantled the Empire. Had to be done. Ansbach is now the top dog in Germany, having destroyed a GIANT Austria and threatening Bohemia.

And then there is this picture...because it is my biggest victory ever.

THis is my spanish empire at 1707. Now, with America and Australia under my control, I'm trying to conquer Italy and the south of France (Provence and Touluse). There's a balance of power in europe because I'm allied with France and Russia:)

Friesland, 1568.

Of Note: Burgundy ate France and is my scary Protestant neighbor. Holland controls Asia Minor. Austria consists of three separated territories of note. Papal State is my vassal. That odd color up in Scandinavia is GELRE. That's Muscovy all over the Russian area. Aragon controls most of Italy.

Deccan took over all of India but was torn apart by rebels. It fractured into many different nations almost overnight. I moved into the vacuum. :)

Final images of my Teutonic Order - Prussia - Germany game, a number of wars allowed me to form a generally correct German empire, also liberated the Netherlands from France. The Byzantines collapsed and re-appeared a few times and I moved in to form Romania from rebel states, also took control of Bulgaria.

The Colonial revolters did quite a job in destroying the British, Portugese and Spanish empires abroad, albeit they still retain some territories.

1752 - The height of the colonial empires
1821 - End of the game

So you maintained the status quo with Austria I guess? Did you become HRE? What a huge Ukraine blob:wacko:. Is it Cornwall or Wales that took over GB? GB nearly vanished. The byzantines performed OK I guess by remaining on a reasonable empire.:)

Look at that huge Lithuania! And that red country in Russia is Nizhny Novgorod. Aragon collapsed (might have something to do with me force converting them to Orthodox...), Scandinavia formed and has some land in Aragon. Burgundy at one point was at war with Portugal, England, and Spain and getting their rear kicked in, before I sent them 60 ducats in war subsidies per month for a year. They gained back their land pretty quickly.

I lead a personal union with Georgia and Serbia.

I'm trying to help Nizhny Novgorod turn into a powerhouse Russian principality (going very slow...). Quite a fun game.

Favorite part about revolutionary is I can set max annex size to infinite and it'll still be historically accurate
Discipline is at 185% so I insta-win every battle. I might take 2k of casualties if I get unlucky dice rolls compared to enemies casaulties of 30k-50k. And that is with no terrain modifier.

I actually tried to destroy Austria and managed to plunge it into a nearly 100 year -3 stability cycle but it lost perhaps one or two territories maximum and refused to surrender a single province to me in anything less than a four or five year war.

Also I did become HRE ultimately by making the electors my vassal's as they were catholic and would otherwise not elect me.

Wales revolted and conquered all but London.

My army at the maximum feasible when considering finances was about 100,000 men short of Austria's as they had the AI very hard bonuses of 50% more taxes and manpower.

Edit: My vassals at the end include Colombia(inherited and released), Persia, Iraq, Maharastra, Netherlands, Gakwar, Shaybanid, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Armenia and a few others.

Another contribution, this is Castille - Spain game I started a while back, about thirty years into the game my dynasty died off and the french Bonaparte family took the throne, I would inherit (and release as a vassal) france perhaps ten or twenty years later.

Interestingly enough I inherited the OPM Byzantine empire perhaps ten years into the game, been defending Thrace ever since from Austrians and Ottomans.

Also inherited (and released) both Sardinia-Piedmont and Naples.

The world, note Persia reuniting the Timurid empire. The sole remaining Orthodox nation is the island of Crete, all the russian nations are either catholic or muslim due to invasions.

Spanish Empire in 1569 soon after finished of most of Gehre, Brabant.

Due to gurrante on Knights, I ended up as Alliance leader with Ottomans against Byzantines.. and well.. hehe, that's why they survived and doing so well, though later I had join up with them, against Austria, who also lost some of the Rhineland to France.

I built most of Belguim through gurranting minors, joining war with Austria against France, and retaken the province for myself.

My attempt of an WC without going over the Infamy-limit failed, even with three 6*-Diplomats. However...i have nice borders.

Transylvania and Gr....Little Britain are my vassals.
